On Thursday August 5 the opening of the event will be arranged. The opening procession leaves from the Orthodox Church at 7 p.m. The flag of each participating country gathers the walkers of its country in a row.

The closing festivities on Sunday will begin at 3 p.m. at the finish at Restaurant Strampen.  Walkers are requested to reserve time enough to join these ceremonies.
